Position: SCM Consultant Need Location: Deerfield,IL
Duration of Role: 6+ Months * Subversion (SVN) - strong knowledge of this tool including branching/merging best practices & capabilities. Also, should have experience performing administrator roles to the tool (configuring pre-commit hooks, branch locking, creating tags) * Experience building & deploying applications in a continuous integration tool, and configuration of the continuous integration tool * Experience with ticketing systems * Strong communication - ability to communicate & articulate issues to onshore team members * Strong UNIX/Linux experience * UNIX shell scripting (Korn shell preferred) development experience -- to automate and/or update existing rollout (SCM) scripts Skills required: * Knowledge system design and implementation in specific areas, including networking/database management, security, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), virtualization, load balancing and clustering. * Experience in trouble-shooting systems software including facilitating working sessions and coordinating testing efforts. * Ability to manage and coordinate the work of others * Experience and proven track record in forming relationships with internal customers. * Intermediate knowledge and experience in Oracle SQL. * Basic to intermediate knowledge of Bamboo and other tools within the Atlassian suite ( JIRA) is a plus. * Experience with Tuxedo is a plus. * Basic knowledge of Cloud technology is preferred. * Knowledge of IBM's Business Process Manager (BPM/iLog) tool suite is required. * Ability to work independently and prioritize work with minimal supervision. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. * Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a face paced support environment.
