*Job Title: VMware Adminstrator* *Location: Sunnyvale, CA* *Duration: 6 month contract* *Need local candidates* *Responsibilities:* • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot VMware VSphere Suite 5. 1, VMware View 5. 1, VMware vCloud Director 5. 1, VMware SRM. • Solid understanding of System Performance and monitoring. • Build and run scripts to manage/automate tasks related to VMware and O/S platforms using Powershell. • Maintain and manage VMware infrastructure to ensure stability and availability • Fine tune VMs configurations to get the best balance of performance, resource optimization and availability • Performs troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose VMware infrastructure problems • Day to day ticket resolution and server support for REIT-related project work. • Knowledge of RHEL 5.x and 6.x, AIX 6.1 and 7.1. • Knowledge of Dell servers and IBM P-Series. • Knowledge of IBM PowerVM (LPAR). • Knowledge of EMC VNX, VMAXe and Brocade fiber switches. • Knowledge of Fiber networks and cabling. • Able to deploy Linux VMs • Able to troubleshoot RHEL and AIX system failures. • Familiar with Sendmail, and email troubleshooting. *Best Regards,* Raja [email protected] Techwire Solutions Inc. 101 Hudson Street, Jersey City, New Jersey 07302 *New Jersey || California || Washington || New Delhi || Noida || Hyderabad* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT RECURITER" group.
