This is a* 6 months Contract *extendible Position based in* Phoenix, AZ, USA* *Role: Oracle Core DBA* *Location: Phoenix, AZ, USA* *Duration: 6 months* *Job Description* · 5 -7 years of experience in Oracle Apps DBA Skills · Support, administer, optimize and maintain Production and Development Oracle 10g/11g database environments running on different platforms. · Provide database design and implementation of Oracle databases · Provide 2nd/3rd level support, including on-call support through rotational basis · Provide high-level instance and statement level tuning, and optimum data loading techniques · Setup procedures to refresh databases environments · Experience in Database and System Performance Tuning · Very good at Troubleshooting of Oracle Databases - Should have worked with HANG Analyzer, system state dump, AWR analysis etc · SQL Tuning and troubleshooting, Trace file analysis · Very good knowledge of Backup and Recovery scenarios with RMAN configuration & Setup · Good knowledge on Data Guard implementation · DR data replication and monitoring, DR failover testing · Good experience in DB upgrades and Migrations · Experienced in working with very complex PROD environments. · Test & co-ordinate, regular patches released by Oracle support (emergency patches, quarterly patches for Dev, Test, Prod and DR environments). · Provide database space management and monitoring · Provide schema management for objects such tables, views, indexes etc, and ensure they meet internal database standards · Setup effective database monitoring process. · Patch deployment/Major releases · Apply oracle security patch releases. · Implement and enforce proper database security · Experience in OEM administration · Exposure to RAC and ASM instances. · Experience in scripting · Mandate experience in administering Oracle Golden Gate Generic Requirements – · Experienced in 24x7 in PROD environments · Ready to work in Extended hours, Weekends and Shifts Please note : BG check which will take minimum 3 to 4 after on boarded *If you find it interesting do send the following details:* *Checkpoint* *Full Name of the Candidate* *Contact number* *Email ID* *Last 4 digits of SSN* *Salary/Rate* *Current Location* *DOB* *Openness to relocate OR Travel* *Total years of experience* *Reason for Change* *Availability/Notice Period* *Highest Educational qualification with Year of Passing and Institute* *Certifications if any* *Immigration Status - If H1B- name of the employer and H1B Validity* *Best Time to reach for a pre-screen/Interview* Thanks and regards...
