*Please send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Need GC/USC* *Sr. Android Developer * *Salt Lake City, UT* POSITION PURPOSE - As the Lead Android Developer you will be responsible for implementing and supporting native/hybrid applications to support the dynamic growth of the client’s applications. This role requires deep technical knowledge, strategic planning and hands-on execution towards delivering high quality native/hybrid apps. In this role · You excel at developing native/hybrid apps that are highly scalable and robust. · You have strong understanding of major mobile design & development paradigms. · You thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment which focuses extensively on delivering high quality applications at a rapid pace. · You will be a team player who helps solve the most challenging problems at very large scale. · You will serve as subject matter expert and be a key contributor to our rapidly growing the client’s application portfolio. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key - · Partner with Product Management and User Experience stakeholders to elicit requirements and use cases for complex system enhancements. · Work with architects and peer leads across the enterprise to drive out system design for high-complexity integrations. · Lead a small team of engineers to o Detail technical designs and specifications for multiple product features. o Develop, compile, debug, and unit test builds for delivery to QA o Enforce design and coding standards through formal reviews o Ensure web operations and non-functional system requirements are met prior to production deployment · Enhance and support a metrics-driven approach to continuously improve code quality · Mentor junior engineers on proper coding practices · Assist triage and resolution for production issues as they arise Preferred Qualifications - · 6-10+ years of software development experience · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. · 2-4+ years’ experience with mobile applications, especially Android · 2+ years’ experience with Java/J2ee. · Experience with Subversion, SQL, XML, JSON and Web Services · Experience building complex Android Apps that have been successfully delivered to customers · Proficient in fundamentals of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies - · Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication · Strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and testing skills · Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail · Ability to self-manage assigned tasks and projects · Ability to work independently with minimal direction Thanks & Warm Regards, AMIT BAJPAI, United Software Group Inc.
