*A. **Experience*
· At least 7 years of experience in networking
· Extensive experience in configuring and managing operation
· Hands on experience working with Cisco networking devices such
as Cisco 5k, cisco 3560x, Cisco nexus 1000v
· Should have experience/ managing network infrastructure in
virtual environment
*B. **Job Description /Areas of Responsibilities*
· Day to day operations network infrastructure management of
VMWare/VBlock infrastructure
· Knowledge around the ITIL processes (Incident management,
change management, problem management etc.)
· Must be willing to work on-call by rotation
*C. **Competencies*
· *Analytical Abilities*:- Has analytical abilities and can
look at data from multiple sources in order to build cause effective
reports that help in arriving to key issues and understanding of the
problems
· *Business Acumen*: Understand linkage of metrics to key
business drivers and align team effort on it. Has basic understanding of
financial parameters and able to analyze impact.
· *High impact Communication*: highlight key ideas is able to
articulate own points based on assessment of multiple points or views is
able to justify with logical reasoning
· *Function/process knowledge*: Demonstrate the working
knowledge of processes in at least one functional area in order to document
specific as-is customer processes identify gaps and independently mapped to
process. Has understanding of industry frame works such as ITIL, CMMI, COBIT
· *Certification - ITIL V3 certification*
· *Industry relevant certifications like CCNA,CCNP would be an
advantage*
