*Position: Project Management – Major* *Location: Columbia, SC* *Duration: 12 Months* *SKILLS REQUIRED:* 1. An associate degree in computer science and five years experience in new computer systems development, network management, or related field; or a bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics, management information science and five years experience in new computer systems development, network management, or related field. 2. PMP certification. Expired certifications must be reinstated within 6 months of start date. 3. At least 3 years’ experience in systems implementation, operating systems, and/or infrastructure. 4. Possess documented experience as a project manager over small-sized projects ($50,000 to $1,000,000). 5. Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for policies, procedures, and best practices. 6. Able to conduct research into infrastructure issues and products as required. 7. Ability to plan, organize, deal effectively with the needs of technical peers, technical and user management, end users, vendors, and staff members 8. Must possess excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills 9. Possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in spoken and written form 10. Flexible and easily adapts to changing priorities *SKILLS PREFERRED:* 1. Current industry certifications for Microsoft and system security 2. BA, QA certifications & experience 3. Experience with image scanning equipment and industry standards practices 4. Knowledge of IRS and DOD system security guidelines 5. Knowledge of software development lifecycles and migrations from different environments, such as development, production, etc. 6. Knowledge of Windows Server 2008, Sharepoint 2010, Project 2003, SCCM 2012 7. Hands-on technical knowledge of network and server operating systems 8. Working technical knowledge of tools and techniques including but not limited to: a. Internet Information Server, b. Virtual Private Networking (VPN) c. Dell and CISCO equipment d.
