Title: QA Tester Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: guaranteed thru 12/31/15 (contract likely to be extended another year after that) Domain: P&C Insurance Interview: Skype-to-hire *Position Summary:* Under general direction, this position is responsible for developing and executing functional test cases to ensure that the delivered solution meets project requirements and handles data in a predictable, error-free fashion. *Essential Functions:* · Develops and executes functional test scenarios and test utilizing user stories contained within Agile Sprints. · Testing Enterprise Level Reports generated from the Data Warehouse, via Cognos, for accuracy and completeness. · Reviews project requirements to ensure requirements are testable. · Provides estimates on the amount of time needed to complete testing related tasks within a sprint. · Facilitates test case review sessions with other Agile team members. · Tracks test execution results within HP ALM/Quality Center. · Utilize HP ALM for tracking defects found during testing. *Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:* · Strong analytical skills to translate project reporting requirements to appropriate test cases to ensure adequate test coverage and traceability. · Strong SQL Skills with the ability to create complex queries to validate the completeness and correctness of reports generated from Citizen’s data warehouse. · Experience testing in large data warehouse projects. · Experience with enterprise reporting tools, e.g. Cognos, Crystal Reports, etc. · Experience tracking and resolving issues encountered in testing. · Experience working as a part of an Agile Development team. · Software test experience in developing test plans, test cases and creating scripts. · Testing experience in a large scale relational database environment. · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Experience with HP ALM/Quality Center for test management. *Required Education:* · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field OR 4 years of relevant experience OR a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent to 4 years in college *Preferred Qualifications:* · Ability to effectively communicate with other team members · High degree of people skills including relationship building · Insurance industry related exposure especially in Property and Casualty Insurance *Anuj Rai Sr. Recruitment Manager* *Zenith tech Solutions Desk: 518-621-0048 Fax: 518-244-4977 3 park Hill* *Albany, NY 12204* *Email Id:- [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Gmail:- [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Website:- www.zenithtechsolutions.com <http://www.zenithtechsolutions.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT RECURITER" group.
