Candidate should have an understanding of the PlanView 11.1 or higher application functionality, architecture, and data schema. Development areas include Planview, Business Objects, Cognos, Autosys, Oracle 11g or higher, Candidate should be experienced in using formalized source control software, issue/bug tracking systems and disciplined software development methodologies. *Responsibilities:* · Design, develop, and support Ad hoc reporting through building custom BO universes · Assist with development effort to migrate existing custom BO universes to Cognos reporting. · Design, develop, and support Ad hoc reporting through building custom Cognos reports · Provide routine application and data maintenance support *Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in IT related discipline or equivalent experience. · Minimum of 5+ years’ experience with developing complex reports and dashboard applications in large, global organizations on a variety of BI platforms like BO and Cognos.. · Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Cognos Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Cognos Connection. · Experience & awareness of nuances on BO to Cognos Migration. . · Proficient in SQL (Oracle and PL/SQL preferred) and clear understanding of relational database models. · Strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively develop technical solutions to the requirements · Effective communication skills with both business and technical teams. · Demonstrated ability to write, edit, and debug software to achieve desired output and performance. · Ability to work in a high paced, multiple vendors global environments · Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, with strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively develop technical solutions to their requirements *Preferred Qualifications:* · Experience with ETL tools like Talend · Experience with Cognos Mobile and Go!
