Monitors resource usage. Develops plans for future growth. Enforces data security policy as defined by senior management. Monitors the daily database backup operations. Works with Oracle to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Reviews and reassesses the backup procedures to ensure reliable and efficient recovery of the corporate databases. Assures the highest level of integrity. Works with other IT staff on production and development plans and issues. Performs troubleshooting, performance tuning and other database maintenance activities. Recommends necessary database technology upgrades that are critical to the efficiency and reliability of the database operation. Performs database software installations or upgrades. Applies security patches in a timely manner. Develops formal migration plans to minimize disruptions to business operations. Researches and explores up-to-date database technologies that are applicable to the company's business direction. Balances state of the art technology with cost effectiveness, with special attention to software reusability to reduce development costs. Provides technical assistance to other IT professionals and end-users. *Qualifications:* B.S Degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required 7 or more years of experience supporting a large scale software development environment with at least 3 years performing database or application server administration in a large scale environment *3 or more years of hands-on experience with Oracle Identity Management and WebLogic* Software development experience is highly desirable Demonstrated master level competence in database or application server management techniques Thorough understanding of good database or application server management practices; basic knowledge of hardware and networking infrastructure necessary to support databases and application servers Exceedingly strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to collaborate with and serve a broad audience with a wide variety of technical ability and knowledge - ability to translate technical information for a non-technical audience Good organizational and interpersonal skills; Attention to detail *Thanks & Warm Regards,* *AMIT BAJPAI,* *United Software Group Inc.* <http://www.usgrpinc.com/images/usg_logo.jpg> * 565 Metro Place S.
