I need a SharePoint developer for a 9 month contract in Cleveland. Market rates apply. Please send me. *Essential Functions*: · Develops technical specifications for the different components of the SharePoint Information System to ensure their functionality and integration. · Participates in planning sessions where District’s departments want/need to improve data management flows and/or utilize systems that integrate with the SharePoint Information System. · Develops methods to measure the effectiveness of SharePoint Information System and makes on-going improvements based on the results. · Manages outside Information Technology contracts providing services, including the development of statements of work, related to the development or improvement to the existing applications integrated with the SharePoint Information System. · Leads or participates in the evaluation and selection process for new software/hardware components or revisions/enhancements to existing software/hardware to support the SharePoint Information System. · Mentor junior developers and administrators on best practices and creation of SharePoint solutions. · Write and maintain supporting documentation of the SharePoint Information System. · Analyze and troubleshoot software and system interfaces · Continually benchmarks SharePoint Information Systems used by other public and private entities, and uses this information in planning improvements as appropriate. · Maintain existing SharePoint site collection and design additional architecture as needed for test and production environments. · Administer SharePoint and site and user security settings. Provide guidance to SharePoint administration, document controls and project controls staff. · Development with Visual Studio (VS) in the C# .Net programming language, including programming against structures in SharePoint such as lists, libraries, sites and user objects. · Create custom SharePoint workflows using SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio. · Develop database enabled applications with VS and Microsoft SQL Server, including tables, stored procedures and web-based user interfaces. · Deploy applications and UI’s using web parts in SharePoint. Make necessary changes to SharePoint configuration files, security settings and server settings to complete deployment. If necessary, install and deploy applications as SharePoint Features. · Administer servers including website and Internet Information Server. *Minimum Job Requirements* *Experience* · Candidate must possess three (3) years of experience and proven hands-on demonstrated technical expertise in the support, maintenance, and development of SharePoint Farms, Site Collections and Web Apps. · Integration of different SharePoint related software such as Oracle EBS and third party web parts, and custom .Net Dashboard applications. · Interface requirements for external entities (consultants and contractors) · Process and data flow analysis techniques, database development and management · Various information systems, hardware and software capabilities relevant to SharePoint Information Systems including SharePoint designer, Visual studio, and SQL databases.
