*Role -BI Technical Architect* *Location - Austin, TX* *Duration - 12 months* *Roles and Responsibilities :* Working with the rest of Customer Experience Business Intelligence team: • Drive thought leadership and strategy • Help define Technology Roadmap • Be a technical liaison between IT and BI community • Influence businesses and IT to adapt and implement new technologies • Execute Technology Proof of Concepts: Identify, benchmark and test new tools, hardware, software and processes to build on the existing foundational platform as necessary • Help scale the analytics platform to meet increasing demand • Troubleshoot and diagnose performance issues • Help with performance tuning and query optimization • Help manage data loading activities • Define and document best practices • Create tools and processes to accelerate value • Share Tableau Administration responsibilities • Provide backup bandwidth to ETL resources *Preferred knowledge and skills* • Experience working with Cloud and Big Data technologies and strategies including transformation planning and execution • Data Management related standards, processes, and technology – Architecture, Database Operations, Data Security, Master Data Management, “Big Data”, Data Warehousing, Metadata, Data Quality Management • Familiarity with database modeling and data warehousing principles • Strong programming skills in Python, R, Java, C++, or similar language.
