Thanks!!* *Title: Linux Engineer * *Location: Pittsburgh, PA* *Duration: 3+ months* Software Skills Linux Yes 1 - 2 Years Technical Skills Communications No 6 + Years Technical Skills Project Management No 1 - 2 Years Additional Skills: This is in support of Writing and executing Service Now Change Requests (CRs) in support of Certificate Replacement Requests from MIS Teams Red Hat Linus Good Project Management Skills Excellent Communications Skills Must be able to work with multiple MIS teams Additional Skills: - They need to have some knowledge of Linux, excellent communication skills, and should be well organized (not a project manager but well organized). They may work on 50-60 items and need to be able to go back and reference the specific item upon question. - A typical day will be reviewing security certificates (the right candidate will be taught what is needed). - They will process change requests for MIS Teams, doing some of the changes, will have constant communication They will need to negotiate dates and times for the changes. - They should be flexible with their time. Some of the changes will have to occur after hours so they may have to work a 1-9, or 2-10 shift at times. The manager is flexible on the schedule as well. Would prefer workers do not stay in the office past 6 for safety reasons and workers can work remotely. Most shifts will be 8 or 9 - 5pm. There will not be overtime. Location: This person can work remote. End date: Current Budget is approved until the end of the year. There is a possibility that it can be extended.
