Job Synopsis: We have a need for a strong business analyst to help us
support a divestiture project, as well as potentially other Purchasing IT
related projects. You will be involved in analysis of separation of our
Purchasing application suite and coordination/execution of projects
associated to that separation (which is to occur by July 1st of 2016). The
project work is expected to go well beyond that date.

We have a need for a strong business analyst to help us support our current
Automotive divestiture (called project Cyclone) from Johnson Controls as
well as potentially other Purchasing IT related projects. Attached is the
Statement of Work for this resource. The current position would be for 1
year with a possibility for extension after that. Ideally, this individual
should have a strong Purchasing background and worked on divestiture
activities before. This individual will be involved in analysis of
separation of our Purchasing application suite and coordination/execution
of projects associated to that separation (which is to occur by July 1st of
2016).
We would like for this resource to join our team ASAP as this is a fast
moving initiative. Our Purchasing IT team (Suneetha, Manali, George, and
I) are prepared to conduct interviews by phone, Skype, and possibly onsite.
*Location:* Holland or Plymouth Michigan
*Project Activities *
- Documenting Requirements
- Ability to document functional requirements as identified by the
business customers.
- Ability to translate business requirements to system requirements
- Ensure traceability of all requirements to appropriate test cases
- Ensure as-is and to-be processes are documented
- Design Reviews
- Provide input on technical designs as it relates to the requirements
- Individual needs to have ability to understand Design concepts
- Individual needs to apply all processes as defined by JCI Project
Management Methodology
- Testing
- Developing system, integration, and/or user acceptance test plans
- Create Test Cases to test functional and non-functional aspects of
the system
- Conduct User acceptance testing session
- Application Test Coordination and Management
- Ability to support integration testing between multiple sources
systems
- Ability to execute system test cases and tracking issues
- Ability to coordinate user acceptance test activities with the
business customer
- Ability to coordinate performance, failover, and disaster recovery
activities (as required)
- Domain/Functional Expertise
- Ideallly, individual needs to have functional expertise in
Purchasing related applications with special emphasis SAP.
- Understanding of how to separate applications due to divestiture
