We have an opening for a couple of *SAP Data Conversion consultants* These can be in Independence, Ohio or Radnor, PA. They will hire from phone/web interviews but all work must be done onsite. Please see the additional notes that I have bolded. They need candidates that have the Data Conversion experience! They will interview and hire quickly. Will run for 6 months plus. *Information from the manager, Candidates that have been submitted were more ABAP people and that is not what they need. The key here is strong Data Conversion experience, they need people who have done the Data Conversation work themselves, must be hands on with this. Will be cleaning and loading the data into ERP System, SAP would be preferred but not a must. Also needed is either strong Access experience, or that could potentially be substituted for Microsoft SQL Server experience (but not something like Oracle SQL), but Access is preferred. The experience they need with Access is in using it for Data Manipulation…this is key.* *JOB SUMMARY: * This position has responsibilities related to master data management, conversion and quality. This position will assist in the analysis, mapping, transformation, and validation of data extracted from various computer systems for loading into SAP. Responsibilities include working with functional and business teams to design Source-To-Target mapping, development and testing of conversion logic in both MS Access and ABAP and executing conversion related processes. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: * - Lead mapping & design sessions for data conversions - Develop, test and execute data transformation algorithms to transform data from legacy extract to SAP conversion file formats using MS Access - Trouble shoot data issues from test conversions and cutover support - Design and execute data audit processes for data cleansing using MS Access - Run conversion processes in support of data cleansing, data audit reporting, data de-duplication, and cutover-conversions (simulation and final go live). - Scope includes primary master data, secondary master data, and transactional data objects - Assisting in the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of the SAP Enterprise Resource Programs relating to data conversions and other areas. This involves a range of responsibilities such as updating documentation, ABAP programming and conducting systems administration. - Other activities include: - Recommending modifications to applications as appropriate. - Production system support - Making presentations or conducting training. - Researching and tracking technical trends and products. - Preparing status reports and attending meetings. Other duties may be assigned. *QUALIFICATIONS: *To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
