Let’s not get away from the *Master Data Management piece*! - Must have it. *Required Skills * - *Expert and hands-on knowledge of Microsoft MDM suite of products: MDS, DQS, SSIS, SQL Server * - *Strong business and technical background in the areas of Master Data Management, Meta Data Management, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Integration (ETL) and Data Security * - *Knowledge and understanding of "Logical / functional Data Sources" and domain knowledge in Master Data subject areas such as products, customers, vendors, locations, employees, etc. * - *Minimum 5+ years’ experience with Master Data Management in the Retail Industry as well as knowledge of key business processes & compliance requirements * - *Minimum 5+ years’ experience architecting, building, deploying and maintaining scalable, highly available, mission critical and performance friendly enterprise wide applications * - *Ability to lead multi-component, cross-functional programs of high-complexity* *MDM Architect * Responsible for working with a cross-functional team to architect and implement an enterprise-wide master data management project using Microsoft Master Data Services to create a single view of multiple subject areas (Customer, etc.). The successful candidate will engage business teammates and IT counterparts to refine requirements, design, plan, and deliver to specification through an agile SDLC. *Responsibilities: * - Data modeling, data architecture, metadata management, and data governance. - Work with Business Analyst/Users to translate functional requirements to technical design - Act as a primary advocate for Master Data concepts and governance Partner with Business to implement a long-range roadmap of data management solutions, including data quality initiatives - Maintain overall ownership for architecture and technical management of multi-subject area enterprise MDM solution set - Own and shape solution designs and frameworks required to support global MDM and data governance - Partner with IT teams to syndicate master data from the MDM solution across the application landscape with consistency, integrity and reliability - Oversee resources, work products and deliverables from internal and external parties throughout the delivery of Master Data Solutions and its operations Lead design reviews & oversee code reviews to ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications and quality guidelines Understand and comply with and agile SDLC methodology in a validated environment.
