Looking for a *candidate local to Eagan Minnesota* trying to extract useful insights, patterns and trends, then this position might interest you. Your skills should include the ability to organize, clean-up and manage a lot of customer data. This role will help our team make this data accessible and useful as we look for insights about our customers, our market and our product usage. You'll work with both data experts and data consumers, so strong communication skills will be helpful. This position is located at our Eagan campus. REQUIRED: Candidate must be fluent in Excel (charts, formulas, vlookups, pivot tables and data manipulation) as well as basic statistics and data analysis methods. Hands on experience with Tableau, R, SQL and related tools would be helpful but not required. Role Purpose & Summary: This role will work within the Legal Know-How Product Management Strategy team and will support the market size and customer usage analysis functions. The successful applicant will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, good interpersonal skills, the ability to manage their time and workload effectively and skills in creating relevant data visualizations using standard tools such as Excel and Tableau. Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities: • Data gathering and analysis as part of assigned tasks and projects • Creating data visualization as part of assigned tasks and projects • Assist Editorial Service teams with market analysis and related requests • Assist in Market Analysis, Jurisdictional build and retention model projects • Assist in development and implementation of Strategy Insights Framework in the areas of data analysis, KPI development and reporting • Interact with partner teams to manage tasks and projects • Other projects and tasks as assigned Qualifications Mandatory Skills and Experience: Technical skills (How TO do things): • Strong statistical, data analysis and visualization skills • Strong Excel skills including charting, Pivot tables, statistical and data cleanup functions • Experience in a Business Analyst or related role involving data analysis and data visualization • Basic PowerPoint, Word, Outlook skills • Professional communication skills • Hands-on experience with Tableau data visualization tool Interpersonal skills (How WE do things): • Ability to build effective working relationships with members of team and partner organizations • Good written and oral communications skills able to converse with many levels of the organization • Able to work with product, editorial, data and marketing teams (including segment partners) in a collaborative manner to achieve positive results • Strong team player who understands consensus and works toward the success of the team and organization • Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner Personal skills (How I do things): • Able to work with little direct supervision • Able to work effectively in a team environment where team members may not be co-located • Self-motivated and pro-active • Good analytical and process improvement skills • Understands expectations that were set with team and recognizes when issues / events may affect delivery.
