6-12 months *Job Description:* Operational Support - Network - WAN • Ensure bandwidth is available for identified applications/services and review monthly capacity reports for operational trends, assess recommendations, and support action required to ensure end to end platform availability & network performance - Internet • Ensure bandwidth is available for identified applications/services and review monthly capacity reports for operational trends, assess recommendations, and support action required to ensure customer availability and performance Operational Support (cont.) - Local Traffic Manager • Configure health checks to determine health of web and application tier servers • Assess, define, review, and /or approve load balancer definitions as appropriate in support of application & platform add, change, and decommissions • Provide & review monthly reports on load balancer metrics in support of end to end platform availability and network performance Security - Firewall • Provide & review performance information and rules in a monthly report • Assess, define, review, and /or approve rules as appropriate in support of application & platform add, change, and decommissions General • Perform monthly operational audits on all network and security components that are designated as components of the environment to ensure initial and continued operational stability • Validate configuration backups are configured and completed successfully • Engage and collaborate with other Platinum support groups across towers as needed • Participate in new products evaluations and application sizing Incident Management • Coordinate, validate, and/or perform incident analysis and resolution (root cause, crash analysis, etc.) • Provide immediate response to SEV 1 issues, as the subject matter expert for network services as it relates to the designated components of the environment, along with designated resources Monitoring and Proactive Tasks • Work with appropriate service teams to monitor & report on • Performance and workload management including performance analysis and performance tuning • Proactive capacity monitoring • QoS and traffic throughput monitoring • Assess, recommend, validate, and/or approve changes in support of performance turning, capacity, or QoS / traffic management on the network in support of the designated components of the environment *Thanks and Regards,* *Warm Regards,* *Randhir Kumar* *IDC Technologies* *1851 McCarthy Blvd. Suite 116, Milpitas, CA 95035* *Email: **[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Phone: * *408-459-1535 Web: www.idctechnologies.com <http://www.idctechnologies.com/> * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT RECURITER" group.
