Client : NCR Bill Rate: Up to $35/hr C2C Interview Mode: Phone and In-Person Description: The incumbent is responsible for performing a variety of software systems quality engineering duties to assist the product management and their staff in administrating quality protocols required in implementing and maintaining products to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with all NCR polices. • Work closely with the onsite / offsite QE Manager, clients, business analysts, designers and developers to develop comprehensive test plans during early phases of each project. • Implement processes and procedures for best practices for software testing • Serve as test area lead as needed and coordinate testing resources to execute project test plan • Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. • Test system to prepare for release to customers. • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers. • Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content. • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes. • Create or maintain databases of known test defects. • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates. • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks. • Experience in PL/SQL, SQL Plus or TOAD • XML Schema is a plus • Knowledge and experience in web services testing • Perform other duties as required. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT RECURITER" group.
