*H1B*: Yes *H1’s are ok if local and have excellent communication skills* *Out of state ok, however the consultant will be required to work onsite* *Requirement**:* · Must have a minimum of 5 years managing Windows Server and Linux based IT departments and/or 7+ years in computer related field with a focus on enterprise networks. · Must have excellent working knowledge of the following: network protocols and services (DHCP, DNS, IIS, GPO, etc.), Cisco ASA, Layer 3 switching/VLANs, Cisco routers, EIGRP and BGP routing protocols · Experience with Palo Alto and Riverbed Steelhead devices a plus · Must also be familiar with Cisco VOIP environment and VMWare ESXi and SAN technology · Efficient troubleshooting skills required · MCSE or CCNP certification required or equivalent work experience *Responsibilities:* · Design, Implementation and Oversight of MPLS network for Client’s national locations. · Responsible for campus infrastructure design, maintenance and optimization. · Must have advanced understanding/mastery of network equipment, design, and security of systems in an enterprise environment. · Responsible for design, implementation and oversight of firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention appliances. · Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priority of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions for the Client’s US offices. · Supports the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization. · Provides general technical guidance and mentors junior level technicians in the department. · Assists as needed with negotiations and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products for US Offices. · Reviews performance of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and impact, and address problems. · Keeps management informed through regular communication of status reports as requested by management. · Network monitoring, strong analytical and reporting skills and advanced troubleshooting required.
