We are start-up & working on a great social product. In order to support
our initiative we are looking for a Swift developer for the development and
maintenance of applications aimed towards iOS and OS X, including phones &
tablets. Primary focus will be the development of app and integration with
back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and
developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
*Responsibilities*
· Design and build applications for iOS and OS X,
· Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
· Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of
applications, and fix bugs
· Proficient in Swift, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
· Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
· Experience with Cocoa APIs on OS X
· Knowledge of memory management and multi-threading
· Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services
· Good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus
· Knack for benchmarking and optimization
· Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface
guidelines
· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{e.g. Git,
Mercurial or SVN}}
