One of our Direct Clients is looking for a Sr. SAP SD (Order Create/Management) resource Position Overview: Key Role and Primary Responsibilities: Provide business analysis and process (re)design expertise in one or more functional areas within the enterprise specifically in the analysis, and (re)design, of SAP functions and processes Configure/Customize processes/functionality within ECC 6.0 Sales & Distribution(SD) module inclusive of Available to Promise (ATP) checking Rules Configure/Customize processes/functionality within ECC 6.0 Sales & Distribution(SD) module inclusive of Pricing & Rebates Acting as the effective liaison between IT functions and business partners by communicating requirements, business processes and issues. Communicate SAP capabilities/possibilities within SD module Formulate and define application scope and objectives and devise/modify procedures to solve business problems Responsible for system configuration, unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance, and deployment. Provides post-implementation process and application support; acts as work stream leader from start to finish. Write or review functional specifications. Creates detailed project plans and project estimates. Manages functional projects through the project lifecycle. May manage process area, from design through post-implementation Leverages SAP OSS, SDN and online tools Maintaining consistency of the Commercial – Order Management area across all business units globally Prepare business specifications for reports Cross train other associates where and when appropriate, should act as a technical coach to help junior resources. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems. May consider 10+ years of related experience and technical training in lieu of degree 10+ years of SAP SD experience with an emphasis on design, configuration and troubleshooting required Required: In-depth knowledge in more than one business area and detailed understanding of interdependencies with other ECC 6.0 modules (ie: WM, MM, FI) and understand the connection impacts Demonstrated ability to act as a work stream leader Configuration and testing of SD, inclusive of ATP (Available to Promise) checking rules, Sales Documents, Enterprise Structure required. SAP configuration skills in SD Module SAP functional skills in SD Module Solid understanding of SAP data model in SD Comprehensive understanding of SAP's customizing toolset, including IMG Configuration and testing of SD, inclusive of Pricing & Rebates Experience with SAP Foreign Trade, Intra Company and Inter Company processes Experience with SD user exits, Z tables and system mods. Experience with SAP Batch job processes EDI and interface knowledge (iDOCS) Experience with SAP SMARTforms Able to work independently as well as a team player required. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex business concepts in technical terms required. Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills required. Experience with at least 2-3 full life cycle SAP SD implementations and 1-2 Rollouts. Optional: Preferred SAP Experience – GTS (Global Trade Services), GTM (Global Trade Management), BW (Business Warehouse), LE (Logistics Execution), MDM (Master Data Management), GDS (Global Data Synchronization). ABAP code understanding and high level debug experience, a plus.
