• Job Description: Private Cloud Engineer that has hands on experience with
VMWare and has supported a 24x7 operations model. Experience triaging
complex issues
Certification
- VMWARE VCP Certified
- VMWARE NSX Experience
Required Experience
- 7 years of supporting 24x7 Infrastructure Operations.
- Must have 2-3 years of experience with Azure
- 5 years as VMWare SME including at least 2 years working
with NSX.
- Knowledge of Networking (Cisco Preferred) and Storage
(NetApp preferred).
- Enjoys solving complex problems.
- Experience defining proactive health checks to minimize
opportunity for incidents.
- Experience supporting highly VMWare available solution
designs.
- Experience working with ITIL process for Incident, Problem,
and Change.
Preferred Experience
- SoftLayer
- AWS
- Scripting Experience (Chef, Ruby, or Powershell)
