*Most of this testing is focused on Services & Backend and workflows. * *There is some UI involved as well. Below is high level requirement for QA resource. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with both manual and automated development, including UI, Web Service, and backend testing Minimum 2 plus years of Experience in Rest Services/API & performance testing of Services Hands on experience with test automation and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Soap, Chrome Postman), as well as test application and tools Experience in setting up automation for services & UI, Agile, Web Security testing Experience using GIHUB, UNIX and reading logs in Unix systems Experience writing small SQL queries and working with Mysql Experience with issue tracking systems and test case repositories. Experience with deployment validation and activities. Experience with test driven development, with testing in an Agile environment preferred. Proven understanding of a software language (e.g., C#, Java) or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript). Knowledge of web services and hands on experience with web service testing tools such as SoapUI. Understanding of software development methodology and a strong understanding of back end (non UI) testing. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Reports defects clearly in the JIRA defect tracking system Responsible for designing testing requirements and writing, communicating and verifying test executions, with a focus on test automation and performance throughout the entire software development life cycle.
