Minnetonka, MN Locals 6 Months Local candidates first Maybe Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison area could work well too…. 2 years or more of Selenium Automation experience *Must have:* Manual experience, hands on recent automation experience using selenium Test with developer's mindset Experience working with teams and not alone - will be working collaboratively as part of Scrum Team Must be able to hit the ground running - cannot afford ramp time *Nice to have:* Past mentoring and/or formal Lead experience, as this person will serve as a back up for QA Lead when out of office, etc Past Developer experience Our client is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to support various external and internal facing products and applications including web applications, web services and microservices testing. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in Software QA processes, Implementing the Test Automation and working in Agile teams for a monthly software releases. *Responsibilities:* · Work closely with the engineering team to understand product architecture and functionality. · Understand end-to-end testing requirements and maintain test plan for functionality and system testing. · Strongly contribute to Test Case/Test script writing. · Contribute in Test Automation Development/Enhancement. · Participate in the creation and enhancement of the continuous integration platform used to test all our projects. · Communicate test results to identify risks, dependencies and escalate the same in timely manner. · Lead / Mentor junior QA resources and work with Offshore Teams. *Qualifications:* · Experience in QA/ QA Automation role in Product Company (prefer 5+ years experience, but open) · Experience in .Net/Java/Python/Perl programming · Strong understanding of generic test automation frameworks (data-driven, key-word driven) and tools (TestNG, Eclipse, Maven, *Selenium*, JMeter, Cucumber). · Experience with Web application standards and API (Web services, XML, *JSON, HTTP/HTTPs*) · Good understanding of JSP/Web Technologies/Web Architecture · Strong knowledge of SaaS model / cloud delivered application testing · Good understanding of Database concepts and good working knowledge with SQL Server. · Experience with Test and defect management tools · Excellent analytical and program solving skills, excellent written and oral communication, self-starter and highly motivated. · Work in a dynamic environment and ability to adapt quickly to changes. *Preferred:* · Previous experience as developer or exposure to white box testing is desirable. · Experience in responsive design testing on multiple devices is an advantage. · Prior experience of working with a globally distributed team is a plus. · Comfortable working in an agile environment and experience with Build and Packaging tools like Jenkins, Team City, Git, Bamboo etc. *Thanks and Regards,* *Warm Regards,* *Randhir Kumar* *IDC Technologies* *1851 McCarthy Blvd. Suite 116, Milpitas, CA 95035* *Email: **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Phone: **408-459-1535*[Direct] * Web: **www.idctechnologies.com* <http://www.idctechnologies.com/> Linkedin :https://www.linkedin.com/?trk=nav_logo -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT RECURITER" group.
