*Sr. SAP HR Functional Consultant*



Location- Denver CO



6-12 Months.

The SAP HR/HCM Data Integration Consultant will provide analysis, design,
configuration & support of the SAP HR solution.  This role will be based in
Newmont’s Denver office with potential travel to the offices in Suriname
(up to 4-weeks total throughout the project) in support of data conversion
and Hypercare activities.



Key Duties and Responsibilities



•           Responsible for conversion of legacy data in HR and validation

•           Lead conversion both during mock runs and production cutover

•           Create, maintain and execute LSMW to load legacy data

•           Assist business to identify conversion data, provide mapping to
SAP and maintain conversion templates

•           Create adhoc queries, run reports to provide data for business
validation

•           Prepare and execute data validation methodology using MS-Excel
or MS-Access with stats

•           Work with business for resolution of all errors, gaps during
data validation

•           Provide periodic status updates on progress for PMO

•           Support all activities during go-live

•           Prepare and conduct unit testing, functional testing and
integration testing

•           Execute testing scenarios in HPALM

•           Validate configuration, RICEF objects are as per blueprint

•           Prepare functional specs, technical specs and user training
documents

•           Define cutover activities thru the implementation of the
project based on inputs from multiple stakeholders/teams

•           Create test data for payroll and others as needed

•           Configure solution for Suriname, non-SAP supported country

•           Fix defects assigned during any phase of testing

•           Support payroll during parallel cycles

•           Perform training in areas of HR as needed

•           Provide timely status updates to the SAP HR Lead

•           Provide support for integration with SFSF

•           Support solution integration with other SAP modules



Desired Skills



•           Proven conversion experience for HR and Payroll

•           Experience with PA and OM configuration

•           Past experience on projects to define and execute cutover
activities

•           Global HR implementation experience for multiple countries on
the same landscape

•           Experience with HPALM

•           LSO experience is a plus

•           ESS/MSS Homepage Framework Configuration a plus

•           ABAP knowledge is a plus

•           SFSF Employee Central experience is a plus



Qualifications



•           At least 5 years of SAP HR configuration with minimum of two
full lifecycle implementations

•           Strong design and configuration knowledge/skills for SAP HR OM,
PA, Payroll/Benefits, Time Management, ESS/MSS, and LSO

•           Ability to work both in a team environment and independently,
receiving minimal guidance

•           Experience using Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and other
MS-Office tools

•           Mining industry and international experience preferred
