Our top client, located in the Austin, TX.is currently seeking a Testing Engineer resource to join their organization. *Role: Testing EngineerLocation: Austin, TXDuration: 12+ Months* Description: Execution of assigned ADAPT certification testing against network simulators, live network, or lab test equipment Monitor project announcements for release availability, and project run plans Flash software (modem software and additionally AP software as applicable) onto device-under-test Upon test completion, evaluate results, and perform first level troubleshooting of failed test cases (i.e. ensure failure was due to software operation and not due to set-up issues) Report test results Capture and forward related test logs to Back Office Create defect reports for test failures and anomalies when requested by project Component Lead or back office Participate in test result discussions as required (e.g. provide test setup configuration parameters to aid in defect analysis) Rerun failed test cases on engineering builds and/or with different test parameters as directed by project Component Lead to aid in defect analysis Ensure all procedures and processes for testing are followed Mandatory Skills Has good knowledge of 3GPP Technologies and Procedures in 2G/3G/LTE Protocol stack (NAS/AS) Has hands on experience with operator, conformance, functional, performance testing of protocol stack Hands on experience using System Simulators like Anite SAS 9000, R&S CMW500 Has experience in analyzing UE and NW Simulator logs and providing the analysis on the issues.
