*Position: SAP PI / PO Developer* *Location: Fort Worth, TX* *Duration: 6-12 months+* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* This position will be responsible for supporting, planning and coordinating activities related to functional and technical message based integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems. Interact with the Functional and Business teams to gather and understand the requirements to translate the business requirements into data interface solutions. The candidate should be well versed in mapping various data sources (JDBC, XML and flat file) to and from SAP IDOCs, RFCs and Proxy. • Analyze business, functional requirements and develop solutions and interfaces as needed for the projects. Follow best practices in development methodology. Document changes in EDI maps as required by IT EDI Change Management Policies and Procedures. • Build new IFLOWS, Enterprise Service Repository (ESR) and Integration Directory objects and modify existing ones. • Monitoring and Runtime Work Bench and creating alert emails • Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, business simulation and other various tests as required to ensure quality solutions. • Proven experience with multiple data transfer methods such as FTP (with PGP), JDBC, SOAP, HTTP, Mail, JMS (MQ). • Provide guidance on support, monitoring, and troubleshooting SAP PI / PO production issues, optimizing performance, and resolving production issues based on previous experience and best practices. • Collaborate with technical teams to develop solutions that are reusable • Document technical designs to ensure clients’ needs are captured • Develop ETL codes that meets technical specification and business requirements according to the established designs and framework • Proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating development issues and • recommending potential solutions • Troubleshoot development and operational problems and provide timely solutions • Participates in system and integration test; identifies and remedies solution defects • Will be required to do production support of existing jobs and new jobs which are promoted to Production • Creates other technical deliverable artifacts such as source-to-target mappings, implementation run books etc. needed for project implementation *QUALIFICATIONS* • B.S. in Business or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required. • 7+ years of hands-on SAP PI / PO development/integration experience. • 7+ years of business experience with a focus on finance preferred • Solid understanding of data warehousing architecture • Experience in design and developing integrations within PI under Integrations server, SLD, Integration repository, Integration Directory, Monitoring and Runtime Work Bench. • Strong experience in Web service calls (including SOAP) and knowledge of ESR Service Registry. • Experience with SAP NWDS is mandatory. • Proficiency in Java coding is mandatory. (as we have single java stack in new implementation) • Experience with NW BPM (Business Process Mgmt) is mandatory and BRM (Business Rules Mgmt) is a plus. • Knowledge of HCP (HANA Cloud Platform) is a plus. • SAP and Non-SAP Integration experience preferred. • Strong desire to learn new technologies and mentor/cross-train other technical team members. • Hands on experience with setup of new systems in SAP Systems Landscape Directory • Experience with Unified Process (UP) or agile software development methodologies. • Experience with and is willing to initiate sharing knowledge with others • Ability to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles which can be confirmed by experience. • Experience supporting a production application. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Good communication and presentation skills are essential for this position. • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills *Gurjant (Gary) Singh* *Technical Recruiter* t: 925.297.5994 | f: 1.925.406.0505 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT RECURITER" group.
