Role 3: Senior 7+ years verifiable experience *Security Requirements: * · Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: None · Must pass a background check for a Public Trust level security clearance. · 3 years of US residency is required for background investigation purposes. *Job Responsibilities: * · Develop and support the new product built on the Java EE platform using the Java programming language and supporting technologies · When required, perform system deployment and support · Work with the database tables, views, support the database when required · Create and maintain unit tests · Support the automated build and continuous integration process when required · Prepare documentation · Provide on-going performance tuning · Write Unix shell scripts when required *Desired Skills: * · 2+ Years/4+ Years/7+ years of Object Oriented design and development · 2+ Years/4+ Years/7+ years of programming with Java EE stack and related open source technologies (see below) · 2+ Years/4+ Years/7+ developing software with unit test automation, continuous integration, build automation (see below) · Strong understanding of object and data modeling with UML · Exceptional abilities to troubleshoot issues in different environments and under tight schedules. · Experience with relational databases and Structural Query Language(SQL) · Core Java SE programming. Java 8 is preferred. Full understanding of the core language constructs, data types, Collections, Generics, Annotations and the Core Java Libraries. · OO: Solid knowledge and understanding of OO principles and Design Patterns (GoF) and the EE design patterns. · Java EE programming: JPA, EJB 3, JSF, JAX-WS, JAX-RS or similar experience using Spring Framework and open-source technologies. · Java Open-Source Programming: Hibernate or similar ORM, Spring Framework (v3 or higher),Velocity/FreeMarker/JSTL/Thymeleaf or a similar template engine · Security: HTTPS, TLS, SSL, Encryption experience is a plus. · XML: Full understanding and hands-on experience. · UI Development: Spring MVC, jQuery UI, JavaScript, CSS. AngularJS/Angular2, Bootstrap, ExtJS or similar are highly desired. · Hands-on experience in JavaScript programming. · UI Debugging using Firebug and IE DevTools. · UI/UX: CSS, HTML5. · Java Unit Testing: JUnit, TestNG, mocking libraries: JMock, Mockito · IDE: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans. · Build/Deployment Automation: Maven 3, Ant preferred. · Continuous Integration is a plus: Experience with at least one CI server, such as Jenkins, Hudson, TeamCity, CruiseControl or similar. · Source control experience required: CVS, SVN, Git · Application Servers: Hands-On experience configuring and deploying on Websphere, WebLogic, Glassfish, JBoss, Tomcat. · OS: Windows, Linux - shell programming. MacOS and other UNIX flavors are desired. · Database: Solid understanding and hands-on experience with SQL.
