*Linux Automation Engineer*
Louisville, KY Phone 6+ Months *NOT a QA Analyst or QA Tester* *Must QTP/UFT or EggPLant* Responsibilities: Testing of POS and other “In store” restaurant software components. Prepare and execute software test plans. Document and track software/hardware defects via Defect tracking tools. Build a Knowledge Base by Documenting Knowledge in Excel, MS Word and SharePoint Lab test, Store test, Region test, and nationally roll out field ready software and hardware Work with project teams/clients to ensure correct functionality has been developed Create documentation on testing logs etc. Work with onsite and offsite development teams Responsible for software distribution to restaurant systems. Skills & Qualifications: Current Technical experience in Linux Operating system. Must be very fluent in Linux OS Minimum 5 years of IT QA experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Technical experience with SQL Ability to multitask and work well in a fast paced Agile environment Must have good organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills Prior Point Of Sale (POS) testing experience preferred Experience with the use of automated testing tools such as Selenium, HP QTP/UFT or eggPLant is a plus Prior experience with IT Systems that do Inventory and/or Forecasting of Food Preparation is a plus Experience leading testing efforts.
