You can reach me at *952-223-0309*. *Please share profile to [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Role*: *LEAD SQL Developer for Dev-Ops* *Location*: *MN, CT, or NJ – Looking for local candidates who would be available to start late November/early December* *Duration*: *6 months+ Contract* *Immigration status: Open (no OPTs)* *Interview: Technical screen with an Intuitive Recruiter, 15-20 minute phone conversation with an Optum Manager.* *The hiring manager is expecting that the candidate submitted will be the one who will be selected, so the candidates will be thoroughly screened by our team. * Developer with 5+ years’ experience and strong lead experience, who possesses significant database knowledge and experience in MS SQL Server and SSIS including the following - The ability to write queries that perform optimally - Knowledge of basic database security practices - Exposure to reporting and business intelligence tools like Cognos, Tableau, Business Objects - Familiarity with general programming concepts and practices as used in languages such as C# - SSIS package design including C# or VB scripting - Experience with data modeling including normalization, logical and physical designs - Experience in trouble shooting and resolving issues with existing systems - Able to identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes - The ability to collaborate, and to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical users - Write technical procedures and documentation for the application interfaces developed - Work in an object-oriented, multi-developer environment with version control, change management and continuous improvement protocols - Experience increasing automation for testing, building, and deploying database projects - Experience utilizing source control effectively for database projects - Experience doing automated database unit testing (including unit testing on stored procedures, views, UDFs, SSIS packages) - Experience doing automated database builds / deployment - Experience doing this in non-greenfield situations (increasing automation of existing manual database build / test / deployment processes) and making cost/benefit decisions as improvements are prioritized and developed - Nice to have: Experience configuring and using at least one of the following tools : Jenkins, Chef, MS Team Foundation Build - Ability to champion these practices to the wider developer / tester audience. - Ability to migrate code across environments and fix/debug code - End to end (Development to deployment) mindset - Strong communication skills *If you find it interesting do send the following details.
