QA Automator
*Job Summary*
The QA Automator participates in all testing activities for the product
team, including test strategy/planning/execution, load/stress testing,
unit/integration/functional/regression, both automated and manual
*Education/Experience Required*
- B/S or B/A in Computer Science or related field, preferred.
- 3+ years experience with writing automated tests
- Experience with manual testing
*Knowledge,*
*Skills & Abilities*
- Experience w/modern software practices: Agile & automation
- 3+ years experience writing automated tests with modern tools such
as Selenium
- Collaborates effectively with development team
*Responsibilities*
- Participates in all testing activities for the product team, including
test strategy/planning/execution, load/stress testing,
unit/integration/functional/regression, both automated and manual
- Ensures high quality products
- Drives to and maintains test automation
- Creates and/or maintains the automation test framework
- Collaborates with QA Automators and Development Engineers on common
practices and libraries
- Collaborates with product owner and engineers to define detailed
test scenarios
- Writes functional and integration test scripts, both automated and
manual
- Ensures realtime automation of tests, collaborates with developers
- Collaborates with CI/CD administrator on automation
- Monitors test coverage via dashboard
- Collaborates with architects on unit test strategy and coverage
- Stays current with modern industry testing practices
