If you are available and comfortable with below requirement please submit your updated Resume, Full Name: Contact Number: Work authorization : Expected hourly rate: Current location. *Role: Big Data Tester* *Locations: Bay Area CA* *Duration: 6-12 months* *Experience: 8+ Years* Job Requirements: - Has test automation and performance testing tool exposure. - Manual functional testing experience. - Big Data (Hadoop) and Business Intelligence testing. - Expertise in automating the testing processes. - Preparing and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM). - Technology know-how on the relevant technology stack used. - Experience working independently as a tester and QA lead. - Knowledge of test standards and process. - QA lifecycle tools. - Experience working with the business and IT team diligently to execute the activities in a timely manner. - Experience in testing effort estimations using industry standard methods. - Experience in defect life cycle management – logging, replication, triaging, verification, closing, metrics reporting, etc. - Good communication skills. - Has knowledge of unit testing. - Has test automation and performance testing tool exposure. *Required Experience: * - B.S in computer science or a related IT degree with a minimum of 5 years of information technology experience of which 3-4 were in testing Big Data Applications. Minimum of 4 years working with Big Data projects. - Must have experience developing testing strategies for Big Data Platforms. - Cloudera Pig, Sqoop, HIVEW, MapRedue, Scala, Spark, Trifacta, etc. Cloud (Azure/AWS) experience preferred.
