*TITLE: Functional Analyst / Data Engineer – Precision Marketing* *Duration: Long term* *Location: New Brunswick , NJ* We are looking for a Functional Analyst / Data Engineer in the area of Precision Marketing analytics who will work on defining the integration rules, acquiring, ingesting, integrating & curating, and analyzing multiple sets of big data. The primary focus will be on defining & implementing data curation rules to drive business insight by choosing optimal solutions & approach to use for these purposes. *Responsibilities* · Propose, define and implement data integration processes to implement a solution for Precision Marketing analytics · Collaborate with business partners to ensure correct curation logic is applied to data integration process · Define and Implement data acquisition and integration logic, choosing most appropriate combination of methodologies & techniques, tools within defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability, flexibility and performance of the solution. · Development of user stories, business rules and logic · Be an integral part of the design & development POD, working closely with other team members within the “lab” and “factory” construct. *Skills and Qualifications* · Excellent data profiling & curation skills. Ability to interpret data from multiple sources, understand & propose data integration logic for Precision Marketing use cases. · Experience defining integration logic for data ingested from DMP (NMC / Salesforce / Adobe), CRM, agencies and digital sources (Google stack, Facebook, Adobe, etc..) to drive business insight · Experience working with data on-boarders (e.g. LiveRamp), defining rules for unique customer identification is an asset · Ability to propose solutions to various challenges with data: different granularity, data gaps, complex matching logic, multi-language, structured & unstructured; harmonization & normalization of data. · Experience with working with tools & platforms within AWS framework (EC2, S3, Redshift / RDS) · Excellent working knowledge of SQL · Understanding of various data standards such as JSON, XML, etc. · Experience & Understanding of various data ingestion methods, including stream-processing systems, big data ingestion, API protocols · Experience with acquiring and integration of complex data from multiple data sources. · Knowledge of various ETL / ELT techniques and frameworks, and working knowledge of Talend / Alteryx is a must · Experience / understanding of usage of Machine Learning / AI principles in data engineering: data profiling, intelligent alerts, data interpretation & curation.
