*Job Title: WebSphere Administrator*

*LOCATION: COLUMBUS, OHIO*

*QUANTITY: 3*

*DURATION 1 YEAR*

*Interview Process: On site face to face Interviews are required for this
role*



*The senior WebSphere Administrator will be required to provide the
following support.*

1. Provide WebSphere support for distributed servers in a multi-datacenter
environment.

2. Monitor daily activities and performance of complex WebSphere
environments in UNIX or Windows, analyzes technical problems, recommend
adjustments, creates and implements approved solutions using established
tools and techniques for the IBM WebSphere suite of products (IBM
Application Server, Portal etc.) in virtual or non-virtual environments.

3. Provide technical assistance to the application development area and
co-workers about WebSphere system analysis, design and programming.

4. Configures WebSphere services (e.g. security, JDBC, clusters).  Plans,
installs and coordinates WebSphere releases, migrations, upgrades and
maintenance. Build new environments as needed and need to implement
WebSphere virtualization.

5. Coordinates with network, UNIX and storage groups for WebSphere server
based configurations.

6. Develop technical documents, project plans and tasks, interact with
customers for proposed solutions.

7. Provide support for IIB and AEM Adobe

8. Provide non-production and production support for deploying code and
assist in trouble shooting and resolving application issues.

9. Support DevOp tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Nexis, Mavin, Bitbucket, Kony
Mobile, Nginx etc.)

10. Build Docker containers using Kubernetes to build applications

11. Any other tasks assigned by the management team based on
project/application needs.



*Required Experience:*

*Most current available  IBM WebSphere certification*

   - At least seven (7) years’ experience showing hands on duties with
   minimum supported (currently v7) version IBM WebSphere Application Servers
   or higher in a multi–tier, multi-platform large (multiple hardware nodes at
   each level) UNIX environment supporting multiple application clusters.
   (e.g. installing, maintaining, tuning, configuring, problem determination)
   - At least seven (7) years’ experience showing hands on duties with
   administering WebSphere Network Deployment manager in a multi–tier,
   multi-platform large (multiple hardware nodes at each level) UNIX
   environment supporting multiple application clusters. (e.g. installing,
   maintaining, tuning, configuring, problem determination).
   - At least five (5) years’ experience administering web/http and proxy
   servers to support WebSphere in a multi–tier, multi-platform large
   (multiple hardware nodes at each level) UNIX environment supporting
   multiple application clusters. (e.g. installing, maintaining, tuning,
   configuring, problem determination).
   - At least three (3) years’ experience with network clients in a
   WebSphere environment (e.g. installing, supporting and maintaining tuning
   and configuration, problem determination).
   - At least five (5) years’ experience in building WebSphere deployment
   scripts in a production and non-production environment (e.g. writing,
   implementing, maintaining).
   - At least three (3) years’ experience with WebSphere Portal manager
   (e.g. installing, supporting, configuring, problem determination).
   - At least three (3) years’ experience with DevOps Tools (e.g.
   installing, supporting, configuring, problem determination).
   - At least one (1) years’ experience with AEM Adobe (e.g. installing,
   supporting, configuring, problem determination).
   - At least one (1) years’ experience with IBM BPM workflow (e.g.
   installing, supporting, configuring, problem determination).
   - A minimum of 7 plus years’ experience and knowledge in supporting
   applications following system development life cycle.
   - 3 year time and experience showing hands on duties supporting
   UNIX(AIX) based shell scripts in a production environment (e.g. writing,
   implementing, maintaining).
   - 3 years’ experience using third party performance monitoring tools on
   a UNIX platform  (e.g. installation, administration, configuration for
   tools such as Tivoli product suite, BMC, Dynatrace)..
