*Job Posting Title: Business Systems Analyst IV - (10+Years of experience required)Location: Richfield, Minnesota Duration: 6+ MonthsPosition Summary/Job Description*: We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Business Systems Analyst that can help act as a Subject Matter Expert on the External Marketplace Services Domain. Primary responsibilities include: • Work closely with the Engineering Manager and Engineering Leads to bring in requirements and break them down into meaningful chunks of work that can be handed over for development and testing • Work closely with Product Managers and UX Designers to groom and refine features so that they are complete and concise. • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on the External Marketplace Services domain, answering questions from within the team as well as other team members. • Participate in agile ceremonies and if requested, facilitate these meetings • Work closely with the Engineering Manager, Product Managers and Engineering Leads to maintain the team’s backlog of work and roadmap. • Define detailed acceptance criteria that covers the details for development, QA automation and testing • Has a good understanding of microservice and the request and response contract • Experience with SQL queries • As needed, help with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) *Skills Overview:* What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job? • Experience using JIRA (or similar story tracking tool) to maintain epics, stories and issues, 2+ years • Experience with SQL queries • Experience writing User Stories, 3+ years • Experience gathering and documenting requirements – 7+ years • Excellent Communication Skills *What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?* • Experience in retail, specifically eCommerce is useful o Experience with different modes of retail fulfillment such as shipping (aka parcel delivery), arranged delivery and/or in-store pickup (aka ISPU aka BOPIS) would be ideal • Experience as a subject-matter expert would be applicable • Experience writing technical documentation around microservices request/response contract. Prescreening Questions: Must be submitted on resume, no exceptions! 1) Imagine you were trying to convince a team which had no BSA on the team that it was worth investing in one (note: the hiring manager for this position does not need convincing; however, this is a good exercise). Provide some arguments about the value that a BSA can add to a high-velocity team in general, plus a few things that you specifically could bring to the table. 2) The more things people do in parallel, the harder it is to do them all well. What are some coping strategies you have developed that you use when asked to keep on top of multiple initiatives in parallel?
