Candidate Details: ------------------ Name of consultant : M R Current location : PA Can relocate : East Cost Only Rate : $55/hr Availability : Immediate • Over SIX years of experience in Planning, Installation, Configuration, Administration and Technical support in large scale UNIX infrastructure. • Administration and 24/7 support of high end p6/p5 systems. • Extensive Experience with LPAR/DLPAR (Micro Partitioning), VIO and Virtualization on high end pSeries (p570/p590/p595) Server. • Good knowledge of Virtualization and Micro Petitioning. • Provide solutions to IBM pSeries hardware and operating system software problems by obtaining and implementing vendor corrections or developing local fixes. • Experience upgrading maintenance level, patches and operating system. • Experience in HACMP 5.1/5.2 environment including planning, installation of clustered environment, creating Resource Group and Support. • System Backup and System Restore/Recovery using TSM 5.1. • In depth understanding of EMC SAN with Solution Enabler, SymCLI, Power path 4.4, Time finder 4.3, SRDF 5.5 on Symmetrix 1000/2000/3000 DMX Systems. • Excellent Problem Determination, Troubleshooting and Performance tuning skills. • Disaster Recovery planning and execution. • Strong experience in interfacing of external devices like storage, Networking and backup devices.
