( 70% Teradata, 30% ETL Informatica ) Teradata Certifications would be a big plus. Job Description: - Design, develop and support of ETL processes - Create processes to ensure data quality and integrity by identifying and accounting for potential data errors - Proactively tune applications to minimize execution times and improve user experience - Write and update technical documentation and review with other team members - Identify opportunities for process and infrastructure improvements and drive them to completion - Prepare and execute unit, quality assurance and integration test plans Job Requirement: 6+ years of software development experience 4+ experience in designing, implementing and maintaining high performance, high availability (24x7), large-scale data warehouse systems Must have 3+ Years with Teradata RDBMS/utilities Strong technical skills and experience with - Solid SQL programming and UNIX shell scripting - Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and best practices - 2+ Years ETL experience is a must (preferably with AbInitio) - Excellent command of software development life cycle activities including analysis, design, development, unit and system testing - Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex operational data into valuable analytical information - Excellent communication skills ** ** Please respond with Resume, Rate, Current Location and Phone numbers of the Consultant.
