*Position: Data Analyst with Business Objects and Advanced MS Excel exp.*

 Location: Basking Ridge, NJ (need locals for F2F interview)

Duration: 6 months



*The Business Applications and Data Support Analyst* within Information
Technology supports change and problem management, application and
configuration management and production support of our suite of business
applications and customer web sites ensuring that the systems and data are
accurate and available in a 24x7-operating environment. This job requires
gaining a strong working knowledge of business applications as well as a
strong understanding of how business users could utilize or adapt the
software to support their areas of responsibility. This is a hands on
position requiring both leadership and technical problem solving skills.



The selected candidate for this position will be working directly with the
CT TyMetrix 360° E-Billing/Matter Management application. T360 provides an
efficient matter management solution that allows Verizon to collaborate with
outside vendors, as well as providing an effective e-billing solution that
automates submission, review, approval and payment of invoices. The
candidate selected for this position will be required to report to the
Verizon Center in Basking Ridge, NJ on a daily basis. Position
Responsibilities: • Work with business users to determine business reporting
requirements • Develop technical reporting specifications • Internal report
development utilizing vendor tools • Provide day to day support for existing
Business Objects reports • Provide legal users with support on a variety of
legal-specific business applications Required Skills and Experience: •
Strong legal background working in a corporate law office, law firm or
government agency • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent
verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively
with different levels of management, as well as both the business and
technical communities • Capable and willing to share technical knowledge
with existing staff • Experience building reports with Business Objects XI
Designer • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products • Knowledge of
Microsoft Visio • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot
tables, charts, calculations, etc.) • Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL
