*Please let me know if you have any consultant for the following requirement. *** *Please forward the resumes to **[email protected]* <[email protected]> * * Position: SQL DBA Architect Location: Indiana Duration: 3 months+ *High level architect in sql dba but they need to have some oracle dba exp too* Required Skill Set(s) and Years of Experience (Technologies and skills as well as years of experience required): §*5 + years experience in Database Technology* with 5+ years DBA experience in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL. §*3+ years experience with Unix, Linux, and/or Windows* §*Experience with Modeling tools*, such as PowerDesigner, ER-Win, or ER Studio §*Experience with TOAD for* MySQL and Oracle. §Prior experience as a Database Architect or Data Architect §*Database modeling and design concepts* at the physical, logical, and conceptual levels. §Demonstrated experience with T-SQL and/or PL/SQL. §*Experience with Data Conversion Projects* §*Hands-on experience with data conversion tools* for load and transformation into MySQL. §Solid Interpersonal and communication skills §Must be Very Detail oriented §Ability to clearly communicate both written and orally in the English language. §Takes ownership of critical tasks and major client issues. §Display strong consulting skills oDisplay a positive “can-do” attitude on client site. oAbility to focus on the positives in adverse situations oGenerous with praise for client and consultants oMotivates others, both client and consultants. oActively listens to client requests, and confirms the message. oSolid organizational skills with the ability to efficiently multi-task. oWillingness to quickly acclimate to new environments and business cultures. oAppears natural in interactions with people at all levels. oAbility to clearly articulate ideas, observations, and suggestions to client. Follows up with questions to ensure there are no gaps in communication. oDemonstrates tact when taking the best approach to sensitive situations. *Broad-Market Scope * §*Experience with Modeling tools, such as PowerDesigner*, *ER-Win, or ER Studio*. §Industry knowledge of best practices for database systems, and data-related products. §Knowledgeable of Data Mapping, Data Dictionaries, and Data Lifecycle. *Project/Position Description and Responsibilities: * Conversion of Data from Existing COTS software for client to new COTS software product. Source system is an Oracle 10g database, target is MySQL. Need someone that can perform data mapping, conversion, scripting, and documentation of the data conversion process.
