In order for this effort to be successful, an existing user authentication data store needs to be wrapped with Cognos 8 authentication provider and sign-on provider interfaces. * * *Primary Responsibilities:* 1. Lead requirements gathering 2. Create a full authentication provider for Cognos 8 including methods for: · Defining user authentication · Defining namespace searches · Managing trusted credentials · Configuring the namespace interface · Initializing the authentication source · Creating a manifest for the jar file 1. Create a trusted sign-on provider for Cognos 8: · Understand the single signon functionality of the Cognos · Configure the namespace interface · Create a manifest for the jar file · Register an authentication listener 1.
