Monsanto scientists conduct the research and development (R&D) to revolutionize plant breeding and biotechnology. The Technology Pipeline Solutions (TPS) team within IT works directly with the Monsanto scientists to develop software platforms that enable these research and development efforts. The accepted candidate will join the emerging field of IT systems informatics leveraging their training to play a key role in defining and delivering breakthrough science in high throughput R&D platforms for Monsanto. * Responsibilities**:* - Configuration of the LabWare LIMS system. - System implementation and maintenance. - Documenting processes, system configuration and functionality. - Entering and editing all relevant statistical data. - Conducting user training sessions. - Communicating effectively within the IT and Business teams to convey complex ideas verbally and in written form. * Requirements:* - A Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT or Science or an equivalent degree and level of experience. - An understanding of the business processes involved in implementing LIMS. - At least 3-5 years of experience implementing and maintaining a 3rd party LIMS system from production through deployment. - 1-2 years of experience utilizing SQL. - Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills. - The ability to work autonomously and drive towards goals independently to ensure the success of business objectives. - Strong teamwork capabilities and the ability to work in a Matrix management environment. *Qualifications that are an added plus**:* - A degree in Management Information Systems. - Experience creating Crystal Reports.
