Our client is seeking consulting contract help with implementing new and modifications of VB6 application interfaces between a third party contracts application and their financial systems to assist in the automation of credit memos, rebates, etc. The third party package is an Oracle based package so this resource will also need some experience applying patches and updates to the Oracle database as well as configuring the contracts package to ensure it works appropriately with the Oracle patches and updates. Required Skills: - Visual Basic development - Oracle DBA experience - Database design principles - DBA experience while retaining hands-on development skills Preferred Skills: - Oracle 9i or 10g - SQL - PL/SQL - DB2 - Multiple operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux) - Oracle database installation, patching, upgrading, etc. - Application installation, configuration, upgrading, etc. - Knowledge of data modeling, data warehouses, data marts Thanks & Regards, Shree.
