Position: ETL Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: 6 Months

*Job Description: *

The ETL Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, testing,
maintaining, documenting and adapting the data flow among company’s various
business systems.  The ETL Engineer will work closely with both the IT and
business communities within company to accomplish this goal.



*Responsibilities: *

Reviewing and understanding the business and data requirements of the
various source and destination systems involved in enterprise ETL

Supporting the identification of source and destination data sets

Supporting the data-mapping of source and destination data sets

Developing the specification for the extraction, translation, and loading of
source and destination data sets

Developing the extract, translate, and load code and scripts according to
the developed specs

Performing unit and system testing of ETL code and scripts

Assisting in the efforts to optimize the performance of applications,
systems, and databases



*Required Experience: *

5+ years of practical experience with RDBMS and SQL (MySQL preferred)

5+ years of practical programming or scripting experience (Java preferred)

3+ years of practical experience with Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence
(Business Objects preferred)

3+ years of practical experience with ETL Tools (Talend preferred)
