*Rate – Around $55/hr on C2C* *Job Description:* Job Description: Responsibilities include: Operationalization of new technologies from an infrastructure standpoint. Involves planning, building, testing and administration of open- source tools and technologies. These include but not limited to Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere, Alfresco, Splunk and PHP on Intel-based Linux and zLinux. Administration of Linux based systems using RHEL 5 as it relates to the operationalization of the above technologies. Primarily will be Intel-based machines, but experience with zVM/zLinux is a plus. Collaboration with operations and application development teams as part of the technology adoption in implementing standards and processes. Provide production support on Linux based platforms. *Skills & Technical Background must include:* Proficient in installing, integrating, tuning, and troubleshooting open-source tools and technologies * Apache/modules, Tomcat, WebSphere, PHP/modules and others. 5+ years of administration on Linux based systems using RHEL. Experience in implementing monitoring capabilities for above platforms/tools/systems. Experience in Alfresco is a plus. Working knowledge with Networking/Routing, Checkpoint firewalls, F5 load balancers and LDAP. Experience with other Web and Middleware technologies is a plus: SOA, Web 2.0 and REST. Excellent Trouble-shooting skills.
