5. Front end piece = 80/20 java development / presentation development
– mostly services
6. Free marker = HUGE plus for style sheets
7. JavaScript
8. AJAX
9. DOJO
10. Style Sheets (CSS)
11. Scripting
12. JSP is fine (if no Free marker)
13. Spring (core functionality and security)
14. XML
15. Tibco/JMS (underneath) – to communicate message between different
services.
16. Lay the foundation/framework
17. Design experience–understand and take it in its own direction – knock
it out of the park.
18. Design architecture and detailed design specs.
19. Able to review code – knows the best patterns to use – VERY CRITICAL
20. Peer Programming = Team Player
21. SCRUM Master (for the senior level role(s) is a MUST)… the lower level
positions should at least be really to read the 7 page SCRUM guideline that
they follow.
22. Work with architecture group in a dual role – hands on development AND
delegate
23. Independent operator
24. Proactive.. drive own work
25. Good at raising issues – communicates effectively
26. Has a point of view/opinion and is a contributor - can/will challenge
and discuss what needs to be done
