The candidate should know and understand F5 but no need to be an expert. · Webserver experience nice to have but NOT a must. · A bigger plus would be to have experience with WEB SERVICES. · Top three (3) priorities for this position (in order of importance): 1.Weblogic troubleshooting skills 2.APPLICATION Production Support experience (see notes below about this)** 3.EXCELLENT communication skills. This person will need to effectively communicate with many varied users. Comprehension is equally as important regarding communication, as is accent. ** APPLICATION production support is specific. There are many people with experience in Production Support groups, but more as administrators (unix admins, etc) this candidate should have supported the applications. Production support web support engineer providing 7X24 expert technical support and consultation for WebLogic, MQ Series Messaging, and Sun One Webservers running on Solaris 8, Solaris 10 and RHEL 4 operating systems. • Position also requires significant experience with Big IP F5 Load Balancer administration, shell scripting for alerting and alarming on applications. Significant experience using HP OVO is also preferred. • Position conducts and coordinates the analysis, planning and implementation of systems software and/or hardware. • Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies and documents operating systems. • Defines systems hardware and/or hardware requirements and determines systems specifications and/or customizations. • Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of total systems.
