This person is probably senior so let me know if you have a DBA with 8+
years of DBA experience
Day to day responsibilities:
• Plan and design new SQL Server implementations, including database
definition, structure, documentation, and long-range requirements
• Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to perform in all of the database
management skills of database administration, web connectivity, physical
structure, overall architecture, and database analysis
• Ensure a stable and secure database environment
• Design, implement, and monitor database functionality to ensure stable
environments
Required skills:
• 8+ yrs Core SQL Server Production DBA
• Windows 2008 multi-node clustering
• Monitoring and tuning SQL Server performance with multiple tools including
Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, and Index Tuning
• Setting up cluster, replication, log shipping, DR testing and planning,
capacity planning
• Managing TB sized databases
• Security setup: database, active directory and windows level
• SQL Server Installation and upgrade
• Implementation of backup and restore strategies
• Performance Tuning, Query Optimization
• Connectivity and Database Consistency Checks using DBCC Utilities
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills
