CISCO Data Management 2. LAN Management and Troubleshooting 3. WAN Management and Troubleshooting *Summary:* - Strong Level 3 Data resource with 8+ years experience - LAN / WAN Design concepts, implementation and SLA based operations support in a medium to large enterprise data center environment. Strong proven hands-on technical experience in Cisco and multi vendor networking technologies- Routers/Switches etc. Excellent understanding of network protocols/concepts- TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, NHRP, ATM, PPP, MPLS. Project Manage and able to communicate technical ideas to senior management. Candidate should have excellent customer service skills, vendor management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision. *Other Duties* * * Periodic tasks or responsibilities: - Minimum 8+ years of experience in managing medium to large Network Data environment - Strong proven hands on experience in the following Cisco data networking technologies - Switches (3750/2950/6500/4500/4000), Routers (7200/3800/2800), Fiber Cables, Racks, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, NHRP, ATM, PPP, MPLS - Person needs to be able to quickly understand complex infrastructures and configuration, adapt and be able to solve technical problems end-to-end. - Should be able to provide escalation Technical support to L1/L2 support teams - Perform problem analysis and provide recommendations for enhancements for Data Network, Understand the QoS for VoIP Network, Conferencing requirements - Perform gap analysis and implements steps for improving service quality - Extend consulting and design - Monitor and manage SLA's and service quality - Understand the Network Security (CBAC, ACL etc) - Familiar with the Monitoring Tools – Solar Wind / Netflow analyzer / Cisco Works / TACACS+, Radius. Net Physics etc. - Experience handling project work (planning/implementation) for the above technologies would be an added advantage. - Should be well aware of ITIL process (Incident, Problem and Change Management) and SLA based support requirements - Need to be a team player with strong team driving skills - Good communication skills (both oral and written) are a must. - Good customer facing skills and strong consensus building skills. - Ability to work with minimal guidance, should be a self starter and drive things to a logical conclusion - Positive attitude and willingness to work in a dynamic 24x7 support environment and provide on call support/ provide schedule maintenance support as and when needed. *Qualifications* Identify the minimum requirements needed to perform the job: Graduate with minimum 8 years of experience in Data Networking.
