Sharepoint Administrator

This role is responsible for SharePoint Server and SharePoint database
management and works closely with Infrastructure staff to allocate physical
infrastructure and install SharePoint. They will also be responsible for
provisioning and configuring web applications as well as provide for top
level security administration.
Critical: knowledge areas include deployment practices, SharePoint Central
Administration, monitoring, maintenance, backup/restore, disaster recovery,
and management of Shared Service Providers.
Additionally this role will configure and extend site and list level feature
sets.
This includes working with the SharePoint Development Team to determine
branding, advanced Web Part features, workflows, and other integration
points.
Understanding
of SharePoint Designer, Shared Service Provider interface for Search or
other Service Management, Site Settings, InfoPath, and standard SharePoint
site administrator interfaces.
Sharepoint administration certification from microsoft is desired.
