The developer will be responsible for all aspects of product feature development, including architecture, design, development and unit testing while being accountable to deliver the highest quality service software components. Developers must be skilled in agile development, that is, able to adapt to changing requirements, rapid and numerous release cycles, and multiple simultaneous development responsibilities if required. Qualified candidates should be aggressive thinkers and have a demonstrated track record of high performance feature development. You would also be expected and encouraged to have abilities to explore latest technologies and how they can be adopted to build our business scenarios. Team members are highly encouraged to be innovative and inventive. You will have the opportunity to completely re-create how we develop/design UI and customer experiences - such as 2D/3D moving graphs. This person should have a strong passion for cutting edge technologies and methods. Being a self starter and team player, owning a set of features and delivering results according to plans and independently while collaborating effectively with the teams. Responsibilities: As a Software developer, you will : · Identify business requirements, Plan, analyze, design, schedule, develop, deploy & coordinate. · Design end user interface reporting based on Silverlight. · Develop code, Unit Test & work with the test team towards resolving the bugs · Follow procedures for coding conventions and documentation · Participate in weekly project team meetings · Occasionally contact customers as may be needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem. Qualifications: · 3+ years experience with Silverlight technologies. · 5+ years experience with C# is a must. · Web Development and Web Services (ASP.NET, Adobe, WPF, Expression Blend, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, IIS, AJAX) · 3+ years experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 T-SQL Programming. · Specific expertise in the UI, in addition to experience in the middle-tier and data layers as well · Strong passion about online technology, web designing and customer experience. · Strong passion for innovation/invention and creating prototypes · Great creative skills, working with cutting edge technologies to completely change the way we develop/design UI and customer experiences · Should be able to independently design solutions and should be a quick learner in a new technical domain. · Experience with Agile practices, methodology & ability to work in a fast-paced environment that includes an aggressive release schedule · Attention to detail, strong problem solving, debugging, trouble shooting skills, deals with ambiguity, proactive & self motivated · Ability to work closely and collaborate independently across a feature team · Excellent organizational, communication both written and verbal, and motivational skills · Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience · Experience with following or applying engineering excellence best practices. The following development skills are a definite plus: · Experience with Share point · Visual Studio SQL Project and Automated build experience.
